With the little success of my new white tailored blazer, I thought I would take a closer look at Baukjen's new collection.

I personally love their leather jackets, the cut and leather look simply divine! The same with their leather leggings, pricey yes, but they get amazing reviews from the fashion editors. My blazer also comes in a very expensive looking camel, here. There are some fabulous looking classics like this breton jumper and this rather nice blue striped shirt. Their boyfriend jeans get some amazing reviews due to the cut being feminised by Baukjen, maybe worth a try? Then, there is the footwear collection, they have Ash Jalouse boots in stock that are so like Isabel Marant Dickers boots, but a lot cheaper and their suede court shoes are just so classy and chic.

Here I am trying to copy one of the editor of French Vogue Emmanuelle Alt's signature looks. We know she always gets it right by playing by simple rules.  A grey or white tee is her usual underpinning with skinny jeans, in either denim, black, white or leather. Finished off with a perfectly tailored jacket in black or white.

I have been after a perfectly tailored jacket in white for a while and I have found it at Baukjen in the form of their Ashcroft blazer. They claim they have perfected the blazer making it from premium bi-stretch fabric which moulds to your body for a perfect fit and they are not wrong! It is a joy to wear.

I have styled it with a few old pieces for my ode to Emmanuelle, but you can obtain the whole look from Baukjen here,

September the 5th is nearly upon us .... have you done the dreaded uniform shop yet? Here, are a few tips and recommendations from me.

My little boys uniform has to be purchased from the school shop, items that don't have the school crest on I try to find cheaper elsewhere. The first item being the plain white shirt, Marks and Spencer's non iron shirts the main selling point for me was not really the non-iron bit (however, if that works ...bonus), but the velcro top button. Undoing the top button is something my little boy still hasn't mastered and I think he is always one of the last to get undressed for P.E, so this should be a huge help for him.

Shoes, the last two years we have purchased Geox's Elvis leather shoes, they are the type of shoes that are a trainer morphed into a shoe, which if your school allows I totally recommend for boys, very hard wearing..... they basically lasted the whole school year with careful polishing from his daddy most nights. This year we popped into a local store that has started to sell Startrite Shoes to have a look and Luke shoes caught his eye, well it was the football logo inside really and it was certain they were the shoes for year 2.

Stationary, we have gone for the Cath Kidston Dino range, this made me happy I personally love a little bit of Cath Kidston. Their new water bottles are pretty cute too, girls version here and boys in a larger size here.

L, is a September baby so misses out on reception this year (delighted to have my little munchkin for another year) but I already know what shoes I would like next September .... have a look here, patent and velcro the two necessities for reception girls I think.

My two have school coats, but if you are looking to purchase some for your children Monsoon have £5 off children coats here and we may have just got this one for L ...... love a traditional winter coat for little girls.

Yes .... excitement here as Hush's new autumn/winter collection has launched. I have to say this collection has to be one of my favourites. It's full of beautiful monochrome items, luxe cashmere, leather and pretty autumnal prints. Also, there is pops of colour with rich reds, a colour that I believe is going to be huge this upcoming season.

So, what things do I really, really like? Well, I love the whole outfit in the first picture above, their leather jacket just looks to be the perfect cut.

We liked the Etoile t-shirt this summer .... well here is the sweater version

I am pretty taken with this blouse and even more so with the Rita Printed Shirt and love how they have styled it with knitted pleated skirt

Kat from Does My Bum Look 40 looked simply amazing in this dress recently..... Could it work on a shortie like me? Well after chopping off a few inches, yes I believe it could ..... 70s style knee high black boots with a heel would be perfect with this dress.

After, trying Hush's cashmere this summer I highly rate it and the jumper below is just stunning. Imagine it with the leather leggings..... gorgeous.

A few other things before I go .... these silk camis are perfect under cosy knits in the winter, even better when you let the lace peek through. Their highly rated leather leggings, here and a perfect looking breton jumper. Then, there is the footwear ...... I told you it is a great collection.

I would like to introduce you to a lovely jewellery brand I have recently came across called ScarlettJewellery

ScarlettJewellery creates beautiful designer silver and gold jewellery, handmade in their workshop in Hove, Brighton. They specialise in personalised jewellery and emotive collections that make you think, such as their 'Que Sera' collection featuring a worry bead or their silver 'Mojos' little beads with messages for all sorts of occasions, many being perfect for special gifts.

I was very lucky and allowed to pick my favourite piece from their collection and as a born worrier the Que Sera Silver & Gold Worry Bead Bangle was my first choice. It's part of their most popular collection and a features a modern day 'worry bead' reminding you to cast your worries aside as you twirl the tactile bead around the bangle. The bangle looks lovely on its own, but I like to layer it with a few old favourites.

If you sign up to their exclusive newsletter here there is 10% off for your first order.

The final pair of jeans I reviewed for The White Company were their black skinny jeans. Unlike their denim skinny jeans these fit true to size and feel really nice to wear.

I think every girl should have a pair of black jeans in her wardrobe, worn with a simple white shirt for a classic look or styled with cosy grey knits and black ankle boots in the winter and finished off with this stunning gilet ... Come on how seriously gorgeous is that!

Black jeans are always my safe fallback for an evening out.

For The White Company Instagram takeover I styled them with my favourite evening lace top from Self-Portrait (similar available herehere,  or here ) and again above with a little tweed jacket, testament that I rate these black jeans I have been wearing them a lot. Another fabulous styling option is to style them with a white blazer and black cami or T-shirt for that classic Emmanuelle Alt look.

If you like to channel your inner rock chick self then The White Company have a pair of coated black jeans here.

1. Poncho - The White Company | 2. Breton - The White Company | 3. Hunter Wellies - The Outnet | 4. Biker Jeans - The White Company

The second pair of The White Company's  jeans I tried were the biker jeans. Garment dyed to a charcoal grey colour with side pockets and zip details they are very reminiscent of the famous and coveted J Brand houlihan jeansThe White company's biker jeans fit like a dream, they run true to size and are perfect for weekend wear, team with a cotton tee and white Sugerga trainers for a relaxed look with an edge. Or come winter they would look fabulous with a cosy knit and ankle boots.

For a weekend dog walk along the breezy coastline I styled them with The White Company's classic breton striped T-shirt, now as you know I have tried many breton T-shirts, cheap and expensive and this rates as one of the best. Excellent quality cotton with a semi-fitted shape that is great for layering and I layered it under the gorgeous circle V-neck poncho. This poncho has to be my favourite piece The White Company sent me, I particularly like this poncho because of it's V-neck, which is flattering for my big bust and it will be perfect for layering over a shirt.

I just know this is going to be a favourite outfit of mine come autumn.
